Braid block is about 5.5" x 17".  No pattern... just strips 2" wide.... and varying from 5-6" long. I would love to try this with a jelly roll...

great tutorial on Magic Numbers---2.5,4.5 & 6.5 inch squares So that would be 2/ 2.5″ blocks for every 4.5″ block and 3/2.5″block for every 6.5″ block, or a 2.5″ and a 4.5″ block for mating with a 6.5″ block.

Quilts don't get much easier to make than when one uses a block with only three pieces. Carol A Ashley, AllThatPatchwork. The design is "original" but is so easy that I'm sure dozens, perhaps hundreds of others have done something similar. So feel free to copy.
