Lego table! Great idea! These old step tables are in all the thrift stores for practically nothing.

This would be awesome! $8 lack table + $18 of base plates and you're done! Another option would be to build it on plywood with casters under so it can slip under the bed when not needed.

Doing this for Bernie's Christmas/Birthday. Good tips - Gorilla glue and make sure lego plates are properly spaced by using a lego to hold them together before gluing.
