Jellyfish Lake is a marine lake located on Eil Malk island in Palau, in the Rock Islands, a group of small, mostly uninhabited islands in Palau's Southern Lagoon, between Koror and Peleliu. Jellyfish Lake is one of Palau's most famous sites (snorkeling only). It is notable for the millions of non-stinging golden jellyfish which migrate horizontally across the lake daily. Light is given off in the form of flashes when the medusa is stimulated by turbulence created by a ship’s motion or by waves. This flashing is only of relatively short duration and gradually fades. en.wikipedia.org/... #Jellyfish
