Stones glued to felt = hot pad. such a cute idea (and great way to use up the bags of river rocks, tile shards and flat marbles my daughter made me buy when she was in her collecting phase).

cute idea - make a hot pad for hot dishes with pebbles and hot glue! I would want it all one color or with a pattern. Love this easy simple DIY craft idea!

felt iPod case with headphone holder. There isn't a pattern but the picture inspired me. I just made it up as I went along. Mine is not the exact same as the picture but similar and cute.

Black or red buttons, with black thread on top and a bow tie to match would be cute aalso. Cute christmas craft!

What to do with Old Jeans -hot pads-- another great sewing project..curiosity has me on this one..is it worth the time?..or just use jeans for some other project..and get new oven mitt's??

Book holder for the car or bedroom :) "The pockets were cut to 8x9in. with a felt backing. Make all 4 pockets, then topstitch them onto a 11x30in solid panel of felt (front and back) that was sewn top and sides. Overlap the pockets about 3 inches. Insert a piece of cardboard into the solid panel and then finish the last side. Add straps, and done!"

Made these at Christmas--quick and gorgeous. Wanted to keep them. Love the touch of red.
