Instead of lighting the traditional unity candle during the ceremony, the couple opted to do a God's Knot, tied with the light mint green and ivory color themes of the day. The "knot" consisted of three strands, one to represent the groom, one for bride, and one for God - the meaning behind was that the couple ties their life in together and with God... I LOVE THIS
Lock Unity: Both the bride and groom pick a lock and place their wedding bands on it to signify individual and separate lives. During the ceremony, the locks are unlocked and the rings are placed on the spouses ring finger. Then, the now empty locks are locked together.
Wedit sends the wedding couple 5 HD cameras in the mail 3 days before the wedding weekend. the couple passes them out to the wedding guests througout the festivities to record & the couple returns cameras to wedit to edit. wedit then edits the footage into an awesome video. you can capture moments from the entire wedding weekend! much more personal :)
from the bride ... "We had a rock ceremony in which we read a prayer and had everyone at our wedding holding a stone during the prayer and everyone made a wish or prayer for us during this time. We now have a beautiful glass canister in our home containing these stones from our wedding - blessings from everyone from our wedding day. " Photography by nakaiphotography.com
