glossy black front door.. Before adding the interior trim, apply expanding foam caulking to seal the new door frame to the rough opening and threshold. This will help prevent air from getting around the door seals and into the house. Never add a glass storm door if the exterior door gets more than a few hours of direct sun each day. The glass will trap heat against the entry door and could damage it.

black front family think I'm mad because I really like the idea of a coloured front question, do you paint both sides???

This is the front door I want. High gloss black, but with copper toned hardware to match the rest of the house. Love the door knocker too.

Okay, that's it! I've always wanted a blue ceiling somewhere, and the foyer is the perfect place! Must do this after painting all the walls white. Ahhhhhh so calming like a sky or spa! Floor is awful though!

Love the window above the door as opposed to on the sides. Let's light in, no privacy issues.

Black door, lilacs. Perpetual love for this shot. Don't know if I'd love it as much without the lilacs, but combining the lilacs and the masculine black accents and the modern white wall and the warm wood floor just kills me.

ADORE the black door, the white rose/ivy pots flanking the door are just the right touch

A natural wreath alternative via Beth Kirby of Local Milk. Just some found leaves and a thick piece of rope.
