How to Tint Mason Jars 1mixing bowl/ramekin for each color 1bottle I Modge Podge craft glue Food coloring 1tsp water per desired color Mason jars Directions: Put Modge Podge at the bottom of mason jar. Then you mix tsp of water with desired color in separate bowl/ramekin. Once mixed, put it into jar with Modge Podge and mix well. After it is mixed well, coat the mason jar with your mixture by turning it slowly up side down(do over bowl to catch drippings). After fully coated, put the excess mixture in the trash. Then leave them upside down on newspaper for a half an hour to a full hour until dry. After they've dried that way, place them on wax paper upside down on a cookie sheet and put them into the oven set on very low setting ( Typically 250). Let them sit in there for about 10-15 minutes, then take them out and turn them right side up. Put them back in the oven and let them dry that way for about another half hour.
