    This lesson is meant for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten, however I believe that it would be better suited for the Kindergarten-First Grade level. I believe this because there is a lot of writing involved. At a kindergarten level, some of my students cannot identify the letters in their name. On a first grade level, students can identify and write more independently.

    This teacher know how to engage students and incorporate many objectives in a morning message (I don't think welcome is a compound word, but lots of great things in this video!)

    Weekly Morning Message - Use one morning message per week to teach grammar. Monday: Correct mistakes. Tuesday-Thursday, find vowel patterns, punctuation, contractions, compound words, parts of speech, etc. Friday: Circle the parts of a friendly letter.
