    It also doesn't say anything about non-compassionate motivation. For example, do non-religious people score as equally high when prompted by something logical, no compassion-based?...

Religion and ethics are not mutually inclusive. Either can (and does) exist without the other. Theists are not automatically moral, atheists are not automatically immoral.

This is totally correct. Describes me perfectly....except I am an adrenaline junkie, but mostly an introvert.

The phone is killing our relationships. I have people who I counsel that tell me that the person they are dating, married or living with are constantly on the phone. To the point that it has become an obsession or addition. So do decide which is it you want a relationship or the internet. If you continue with the phone, you will be on the internet on a dating site looking for a new relationship if you don't stop. Is that worth it, or do you not care?

Sometimes there are people in life who are so broken or hurt they do not have the capacity to lift themselves higher, much less a friend. Sometimes, we may just need to be selfless and give when we do not receive in order to lift someone else higher. Very well said. Some people are just to broken to be in your life it is sad but what has to be.
