Dresser Turned Bench- might take this idea and throw my own spin on it. make it lower to the ground. and ea. kid a window seat in their br. use the drawer to put blankets or as storage... a throw pillow to match the seat and maybe a little bookshelf on the side to hold a few of their favourite stories.

Build your own storage bench... $80 in materials. About 1 day of work. I think one of these with treated wood would be handy in a veggie garden to keep small tools. Might need to add something to prevent water from getting inside and rusting the tools. Maybe a lock as well to discourage cleptos.
