      Paint Elmer's glue and food coloring on clean, dry glass and it will dry to a seaglass effect. Instructions: I used Elmer's Glue poured into a cup and then added small amounts of Wilton's Food Coloring until I liked the color Then I used a soft paint brush . It's amazing after it dries it really dries transparent. You don't need a sealer. // Did this with a mason jar - glue was kind of clumpy here and there. Might try it again with candlesticks though.

    Elmers glue + food coloring = sea glass look. I've attempted this a couple of times on glass (not candlesticks) & have NOT been successful :(
