I found out that the other "glow in the dark" Mountain Dew thing was a fake. Here's a bit of an explanation I found about it and a way you can still do it, but the trick is that you need to use liquid from a glowstick. You actually don't even need Mountain Dew or soda, and using things like dishwashing liquid, hydrogen peroxide and baking soda are things that are meant to enhance the glowing the effect in different ways. Sorry for posting a hoax before!
