This photo of one of the YP boats built at Hutchinson's Boat Works in Alexandria Bay was taken in 1942 during a test run on the St. Lawrence River.

This was the Clayton waterfront at the turn of the century. The Banker block is at right, while the Williams block is at center. Skiffs and launches filled the waterways were, each summer, vintage vessels such as these again pass by here during the annual Antique Boat Show, while thongs of people watch from the shoreline and other boats.

This is a view from the upper Street dock in Alexandria Bay in years gone by. The site on left later became Empire Boat Lines.
