When we put God at the center of our lives, we are never truly lonely. First of all realize that He wants a relationship with us, & that in this relationship as in all relationships, one comes to know and love God by engaging, by participating in that relationship. Don't let anyone dismiss a relationship with God as just mere study, mere rules, or mere emotions. If we are fond of saying that someone is "awesome once you get to know them," why do we not approach God the same way?
