I've been living a sugar-less (mostly sugar-less) lifestyle for the last year & noticing that in addition to losing over 30 pounds, I feel so much better. Finding recipes that don't include sugar is a pain, and sugar hides in so many salad dressings. I love soy and sesame oil combined, so this Oriental Chicken Salad recipe looks delicious. Haven't tried it yet, but I will. And look, mama, no sugar!
Greek Quinoa Salad --- 2 cups water... 1 cup quinoa... Pinch of salt... 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved... 1 cup chopped cucumber... 1/3 cup pitted kalamata olives, halved... 1/4 cup diced red onion... 1/3 cup feta cheese... Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste ---- To make the dressing: 1/4 cup olive oil... 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar... 1 teaspoon dried oregano
