This bulletin board is good for a fall theme and thanksgiving. On the top it will say Don't be a turkey be thankful. the turkey has feathers made out of ties. the children will get a pumpkin and they will write something they are thankful for. this is very creative and children will learn about thanksgiving.
Tree of Thanksgiving using cut-out leaves from child's paintings with each person's many words of gratitude.
FAVORITE THANKSGIVING FOOD graph & writing activities. I would highly suggest NOT doing these lessons right before lunch. All that talk about Thanksgiving Yummies had my mouth watering. I created these activities to compliment our study of data in math. We had been collecting, sorting, and representing data as part of the Investigations curriculum, but these actvities could be used by any grade level.
Thankful wreath - write what you're thankful for on Thanksgiving and tuck it into the cones on the wreath
