We have used a black pen to outline drawings before they paint them with watercolors, but we have never tried using black glue. Like the added texture.

Textured fall leaves. Cut leaves from paper towels and attach to watercolor paper by dipping into watered down glue and spreading on paper. Trace around each leaf heavily with crayon adding a stem. Use watercolors to paint leaves and background.
