Explore Warwick Elton, Dionne Warwick, and more!

March’s Billboard Hits Sketch-a-Thon: 1986. “That’s What Friends Are For” topped the charts for 1986. A feel good song by Dionne Warwick, Elton John, and Gladys Knight, it speaks of having people around that you can always count on. All I could think about were the child adventurers of the 80′s, the stereotypes of the Goonies/Stand By Me movies… but for some reason the kids still kept in their make-believe world well into their golden years. I think they had to get a new dog though.
