FREE - Reading fluency is such an important part of reading. Yet it's hard to find time in a busy schedule to devote to fluency activities. This is a center that two students can work together to improve their fluency skills.

Fluency 1 - Work on expression and fluency by having the students read a paragraph after choosing one of these cards that gives them a different voice or action to do while reading. It keeps their attention while they're learning different ways to read. Or you can use this to help kids remember the spelling for sight words

Clear fluency description. Readers Theater builds fluency partly by motivating repeated readings. What a fun way to learn!

Fluency 2- This easy to read fluency chart allows students to know how they should be reading. I would use this in the classroom as a check list that the students can check off each step as they complete them. It just constantly keeps students thinking about their fluency as they read.
