Explore 60 S, Remember This, and more!

hahaha yes I had a membership!!

Columbia House Record and Tape Club. I remember this. Sounded too good to be true

80's coke bottle with tin top- usually bought at the little country store in the middle of nowhere

Remember glass soda bottles with styrofoam labels? I used to rip them off in rings and stuff them inside the bottle before I tossed it. soda did taste better in these.

Krazy Straw

Crazy Straw - the only way i would drink my milk. Still hate milk to this day, but miss my crazy straw!

stereo set

LP's and I think we had this exact same stereo/record player in my house when I was growing up. My mom would come home with old (when the jukebox man would change the records at work & give her the old ones) and I'd play them on this.

Trying to wind it up slow and quite to not wake my brother Cliff, impossible!

Graco Swyngomatic Vintage Antique Baby Swing - I remember my daughter being asleep in the swing and I'd wind it up. the LOUD noise of the crank would wake her every time.

I used to get this magazine! I had forgotten all about it until I saw it again!

I loved Highlights magazine--the only trouble was that I only got to read it when I went to the dentist's office!

Any time we got a cut, Daddy would put mercurochrome on it and say, "Blow on it!" We always cried because it stung!

my dad would always put this on my scrapes/cuts. The bright red color made me think my bruise was even worse than it was. And it stung like fire on a cut or scrape.

Do you remember World Book Encyclopedia, and the annual year books they published?
