The hillside home on a forest lot on Orcas Island in Washington State sits on a slope dotted with madrone trees, firs, beech, thistle, moss and rocks.

Look at the wonderful details of these windows...and then glance at the parquet floor all done in the same white as the windows. SIGH. Lovely and serene.
