2 Tuna, steaks


1 1/2 tsp Garlic
2 tsp Ginger, fresh
1 tsp Jalapeno pepper, fresh
2 Mangos, ripe
2 tsp Mint, fresh leaves
1 1/2 cups Yellow onion

Baking & Spices

1/2 tsp Black pepper, freshly ground
2 tsp Brown sugar, light
1 tsp Kosher salt

Oils & Vinegars

2 tbsp Olive oil, good


1/3 cup Orange juice, freshly squeezed

My bf thought it was too sweet to go with the delicate Ahi, so I will omit the added sugar next time (especially with ripe mangos).

A Microplane is the best tool for grating ginger. If you don't have one, use the fine holes of a box grater.
