Create 2 ponytails and make both into a rope braid (jus two strands of hair twisted around each other). Tie them at the end and loosen the braids a little. Take braid from your back right and lay it down going counter-clockwise using bobby pins to secure it. Take the other braid coiling it into the center and secure it with bobby pins. There you have it :) Enjoy. Hair Tutorials, Long Hair, Twists Buns, Hairstyle, Ropes Braids, Hair Style, Thick Hair, Hair Buns, Braids Buns

This is why I'm afraid that I'll show up to my friend's wedding with my hair in a ponytail because I don't know what else I can do with it.
If I could get my girls to sit long enough upside down! French plait and bun. Put your head down and brush hair forward. Add product to root to start off plait more easily. Using this technique, you make small, overlapping intersections of braids to create a full crown. Here’s how: go to page for instructions
Double rope braid bun :: xLaurieClarkex-- works beautifully, even with fine hair -- and distributes weight on your scalp well so it doesn't pull at the roots. I use those spiral hair pins, those are awesome little inventions!
