Wowwww! Ok, so this is only two different polishes. Sparkly Teal and Glittery Purple. This is done by layering. Paint the entire nail teal. Then, layer on the purple starting approximately 1/3 of the way up the nail from the cuticle. Split the top 2/3 of the nail into four sections and those become the starting points for each layer of polish (see below). As you paint each layer of purple it creates a deeper, richer purple.

Sheer Nail Polish by American Apparel..perfect for ombré and gradient manicures!!

We’ve seen lots of ombre techniques in the past, but this one is pretty cool because it’s done on your bare nails and has more of a stain effect than looking like actual nail polish. This was much easier than I thought it was going to be, but you should be prepared to practice once or twice before doing the actual mani. It’s all about technique!

A gorgeous metallic ombré nail. Polishes are China Glaze's "Deviantly Daring" & "Want My Bawdy."

Gradient glitter sandwich! So awsome...doing this next. OPI - Do You Lilac It? + Milani - Gems + OPI So - Many Clowns... So Little Time

I didn't use this same nailpolish, but I got a glittery nailpolish (Essie), and it looks pretty much just as cool as this one.

base is "dove" by zoya. Dove is a lovely light Putty- Grey creme that is very soft and flattering. The formula was perfection, as I've come to expect from Zoya. For my mani I used Two coats of color.
