One of the most powerful books I've ever read. I think this book speaks volumes about human nature: the evil, the good, and primal need to survive. My oldest just finished reading it. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone.

Lord of the Flies, William Golding: Oh man, I loved this book! Such a great and thrilling piece. The view on society and civilization is wonderful...horrid, but true. The original Hunger Games, if you will.
