What happens if I don't use the Vodka?

  • Suzanne Lockyer Lawriw

Hmmm. I wonder what an alternative to vodka would be? Some type of ingestable emulsifier.

  • Tania Hjorteland

Ya that's a strange one lol. I haven't tried this

Jenifer Vanfleet Diamond...Oil and water don’t mix, but adding the alcohol, it fixes that. Plus it helps the scent to linger longer... In the case of the "sore throat spray", I imagine that the the mixture would be too thick to get through the spray bottle due to the honey, if you add the alcohol, it thins it enough to spray easily and not clog the tube. I am not sure what you could use to replace it though...

DIY - SORE THROAT SPRAY with a blend of essential oils. Here's the recipe: On Guard - 8 drops Lemon - 8 drops Peppermint - 4 drops Oregano (or Thyme) - 1 drop Myrrh - 2 drops Clove - 1 drop Sandalwood - 1 drop Cinnamon - 1 drop Frankincense - 2 drops

  • Deborah White

Norma - see my post. Start with 8 drops of on guard. The # of drops of each is AFTER the name of the oil.

  • Norma Jean Brady

Hi Deborah, I was talking about the very last ingredient after 1 drop of Frankincense. It says 2 drops then nothing. I tried to click on the link, but it says for only invited people. Thanks

  • Deborah White

ook at post from "essential oils revolution" There is no punctuation. It should look like this: On Guard - 8 drops; Lemon - 8 drops; Peppermint - 4 drops; Oregano - 1 drop; Myrrh - 2 drops; Clove - 1 drop; Sandalwood - 1 drop; Cinnamon - 1 drop; Franincense - 2 drops. Pinterest won't let me put each one on a different line. The quantity comes AFTER the name of the oil. Do you get it now?? I'm not in any way affiliated with this post - I was just trying to clear up the confusion.

  • Norma Jean Brady

Ok thanks so much! I appreciate it. : )
