"Saskatchewan Rainbow Flint  This rare heirloom flint corn has been grown in Saskatchewan for years. It is very early with short stalks of about 2 ½-3 feet tall and multicolored cobs reaching about 4" long. This is a very old variety that old timers called Squaw Corn. I talked to one gentleman that remembers his mother making kind of a porridge out of this type of corn and they would eat it often throughout the cold winter months."
