1956. Note Scotty Moore's amplifier on the chair with a house mic facing it. This was radical for the 50's. Moore's amp had a tape delay echo system built into it. One of a few in existence at that time.

Elvis. Loved by all southerners and despite his short comings is still considered a "good ol' boy" who loved God and is most remembered for his gospel songs.

Elvis. I had a student teacher in high school who was deployed with Elvis and said he did more pull-ups than he did and knew he was a stand up guy. I loved that story.
