Here are a few of the popular ones: "Cook with gas" (to do something right), "gammin'" (showing off), "flip your wig" (to lose control of yourself), "hi-de-ho" (hello), "killer-diller" (good stuff), "popsicle" (motorcycle), "whistle dixie" (to be wrong), and "Hi sugar, are you rationed?" (are you going steady).
