Makes 4-6 kebabs


2 slices Bacon
2 lbs Chicken thighs or breasts, boneless skinless


1 cup Bbq sauce

Baking & Spices

2 tsp Kosher salt
1 1/2 tbsp Paprika, sweet
2 tsp Paprika, smoked
4 tsp Sugar


4 12-inch metal skewers or 6 wooden skewers, soaked in water for an hour

Unusual in a few ways, a bacon puree (icky in thought, wonderful in application) keeps the chicken deliciously moist and flavorful while it grills. Also, paprika (paprika!) takes center stage for flavor – both sweet and smoky. I can honestly say that this is some of the best chicken to ever come off of my much-used grill.

    **** BBQ Chicken Kebabs - good. Don't care for the amount of paprika; I now only use the smoked and leave out the regular and that's still a little too much for me. The homemade BBQ sauce is a winner though.
