I read The Joy Luck Club first, but this was the book that made me fall in love with Amy Tan's novels.

I read this book so many times when I was little. I loved Shel Silverstein and remember writing him letters when I was in 2nd grade to see if he'd put my poems in his books. lol.

They Disney-fied the damn pictures so today's wussier kids can read them and not get freaked out. Boo on that.

Heaven is for Real, a 3 year old boy who went to Heaven and back. This book will give you the 'warm fuzzies' and leave you encouraged in your faith.

Wow, I read that book because someone in 5th or 6th grade suggested I read it.....My mom took it away from me. It wasn't my fault. I didn't know what the book was about before I read it.....

These books! They do bring me down the memory lane. :D Now.. to find out what happened to my own collection... Hm.
