chia seed jams! Made this with Xylitol and peaches and actually cooked it on stovetop for a few minutes before adding the chia seeds . I also ground the chia seeds in my coffee grinder first to give it a smoother texture.. OOhh so yummy!
This was the first time I've ever tried chia seeds, and they are pretty awesome. Another superfood with all it's omega 3s, calcium, fiber, and protein...chia seeds are definitely something I'll start adding to more and more things. The seeds expand to three times their size in liquid (ours took more than the 2hours though), so you get a gel-like texture of the milk, and it tastes like pudding. The cinnamon vanilla flavor was good, but not terribly strong. (Cinnamon-Vanilla Chia Seed Pudding)
