This vase is completely unique! I found the idea in a craft book from the 1970's! The vase is glass covered in strips of masking tape, and then covered with navy blue shoe polish. The inside remains uncovered glass so that water can be added without damaging the vase. We made these at GS camp when I was little!

Canvas, Masking Tape, Spray Paint - So easy! - When I pulled off the tape, it looked a little "messy." Some of the spray paint had found its way under the tape. I ended up touching it up with white paint to perfect the lines. It's a great piece of artwork though and it gets tons of compliments.
