Parents need to remember this always. This is my new quote to abide by.

So true, so true. And many times they don't even realize how much their words hurt your heart.

This is so true. I often see parents talkingnto their kids in a manner they would never talk to anyone else's kids. Your kids should be more respected and precious to you to use hurtful words and tones. Treat and talk to them as you would or better than anyone else's kids.

And we never grow as much when He calms the storm as we do when the storm is raging....and He calms our hearts!

Sometimes saying NO! can be a blessing. Allowing your child to sit in their mistakes and expecting them to take responsibility for what they have created is an opportunity for growth. We have become a society that doesn't want our children to "feel Bad" but in doing so we have robbed them of all their lessons!

Mean words hurt, but seeing your friend walk away and not help hurts worse

"...they are precious in His sight"

It only take one negative comment to kill a dream. Remember that next time. NP. Don't let that negative comment kill your dream! Where you are brave to take the chance, they are probably scared.

children will not remember you for the material things you provided but for the feeling that you cherished them.
