Designed by the Red Design Group, The Candy Room is a playful sweet shop in Melbourne, Australia, which looks like a 3D version of a Quentin Blake illustration. The brief given to the creative company was to create a store which wasn't simply a store - it had to be a unique experience and a destination people would be willing to travel to. From that, this exaggerated "room" idea was formulated.

Beautiful idea and execution: The Candy Room looks exactly like a candy room would in your dreams. No actual heavy-duty furniture, childlike artwork all over the place, and pretty much everything in black and white but the actual candy itself. “Edgy, humorous, and uniquely charismatic. It was not to be simply a shop; it had to be a destination and an experience,” was the brief for the design given to Red Design Group, the creative minds behind the design of the new Melbourne shop.
