25 names of Jesus for 25 days of Christmas ornaments. 1 to hang each day. I think one small tree (say, on the kitchen island) just for this purpose would be an awesome advent calendar of sorts...

Advent ornaments / 25 names for Jesus: This box of twenty five ornaments, each bearing one of the names of Christ (written on w/Sharpies/plain craft store ornaments that were painted/bedazzled), is one of those traditions! We'll hang one on our tree each day of December as one way to learn more about Jesus and celebrate His birth.

Make 25 ornaments with the 25 names of Jesus. One a day leading up to Christmas - a new take on the Advent calendar.

It would be inspiring to make a bulb with a name of Jesus pertaining to a story of what He did for your life... then as you hang each bulb, share the testimony of how/why Jesus is that name to you/in your life with family & friends!! (For example: The Great Physician = Jesus healed so-and-so from cancer; Jahovah Jireh = God miraculously provided $ for a missions trip)

I'm a little too late to do this for advent (a lot!), but I think the boys & I will still have fun puting this together & on our tree in prep for Jesus' birhtday:)

Christmas calendar on a cookie sheet! (Buying the cookie sheet: You just need an inexpensive cookie sheet. The dollar store has a great selection. You DON'T want a Teflon one because the magnets wont stick.)

25 days of Christmas activities - definitely faith-centric (LDS), but adaptable for every family, church-related or not. Great website in general too (The Things I Love), full of ideas to make your life more fun and full.

White spray primer and spray paint 25 magnets (preferably silver and not black because black tends to leave scuff marks) Cookie sheet (non-Teflon) Assorted pieces (for daily magnet) Paper Trimmer and scissors Wet adhesive (i.e. Fabri-tac) Black pen, white pen, pencil Paper Piercer Sanding block White paint and small paintbrush Instant setter Wire cutter

Can't even find this on the Pottery Barn website anymore. I should totally try to make this though. . . Challenge accepted!

eighteen25...love it for Christmas, but really...maybe change my barnwood sign to a ribbon initial so I could change it out at Christmas? Love it!
