    Freeze tomato paste in small portions...open both ends of the can...remove one metal end...leave the other in place...wrap entire can in plastic wrap and freeze overnight....next day push the frozen paste out the open end...tightly rewrap unused portion...store in freezer up to 3 months, slicing off what you need each time you cook.     Freeze Tomato Paste (in an ice cube tray) so you're not wasting any. This is a great idea!

    Great Idea!! Tomato Paste Saver: since many times you only need a tablespoon or two, save the remainder: Open both ends with a can opener. Wrap the entire can in plastic wrap, and freeze overnight. The next day, use the metal end to push the frozen paste out the other end. Tightly rewrap unused portion, and store in freezer up to 3 months, slicing off just as much as you need each time you cook.
