Love this idea- Secretly have every teacher (from Pre-k to senior year) sign this book, and give to your child as a surprise on their graduation day.

girl version of the the instructions to go in the front of the book for a teacher to leave a note in "oh the places you will go"

SO doing this for my kiddos someday... send "Oh, the Places You'll Go" by Dr. Seuss each year on the last day of school. Don't tell your kids and let them read years of messages on their graduation day! I started this with Bryce in playschool last year.

very first day and very last day of school. Must remember this!!

Great idea for hand prints

Hands to remember - trace your child's hand every first day of school. How cool!

The places you'll go!

Reading with your Child

Memory binders for my children. Much more do-able than trying to keep scrapbooks for all my children I am already about 3 years behind on my scrapbooks! So new plan- try to keep a set of family scrapbooks as up to date as possible, while keeping memory binders for my children, then make my kids their own special scrapbooks when they graduate from high school.

Use a glue gun to prevent kids shoes from slipping- plus tons of other great parenting hacks! Way too cool!

Family Dinner Questions! Choose one a night and have everyone answer it! You'll learn more than you'd even imagine...have some good laughs too! Free printables with all the questions here!

Make one for each child and then add hanging folders that say "Pre-K through 12th grade" save things that come home during each school year (report cards, drawings, certificates, good grades, etc.) Love this idea

Secretly have all of your child's teachers sign a copy and give it to them at graduation.

Great "End of the Year" teacher gift! A magazine, beach towel, sunscreen, snacks! Great site for "Teacher Appreciation ideas! ! !

I now officially dream of these types of vacations for Marlow! (500 Places to Take your kids before they grow up)

Judy is the friend who first taught me to capture dandelion wishes in a jar. These wishes just wait on a shelf or kitchen counter until a sad child needs some love and encouragement. Then, it is off with the cap, eyes squinched closed for a wish, and a big huff. This cheers children any time theyre sad–and it makes me happy just to see the dandelion puffs resting in wait.

Baby Signs

Trace their hand on their birthday every year on the same paper. (It will make you cry. They grow up so fast!)

A Year of Dates. "Kids spell love T-I-M-E." (John Crudele). An envelope for each month with a special surprise date inside. Free Download & Print Parent & Child Date Coupons. Also 2 pages of blank coupons to create your own dates.

Kindergarten idea! Take a pic every year in graduation tshirt on the first day of school and watch how they grow until senior year!

I am repinning this site for you guys that still receive tooth fairy visits :) Incredible ideas here!! And one of my own: I used to use extra fine glitter (fairy dust) from Michaels and sprinkled it around on the nightstand with little "footprints" (from my pinky finger). The looks on the kids faces...priceless!! Sean and Joshua still remember it, all these years later!
