Bathtub Paint: the recipe: 1 tbsp cornstarch, 4-6 pumps baby shampoo (about 1/8 c.), 2-3 drops food coloring, 1-2 tsp water by janis
Bathtub paint! Tried it out this evening and I will definitely be doing this again. I used flour instead of cornstarch, it worked perfectly fine. Don't add too much water or else it becomes much too soupy. Once we were done I turned on the faucet. The water was blue and full of bubbles (I used J for the shampoo). The boy enjoyed that part as well. Easy cleanup too!
Cook your own homemade FINGER paint! 1/2 cup cornstarch ■ 3 Tbsp. sugar ■ 1/2 tsp. salt ■ 2 cups cold water ■ food coloring
To make the paint, mix shaving cream with a few drops of food coloring. Fill a muffin tin with several colors and hand your little one a basting brush for painting the tub and tiles.
