Olive's DIY Vintage Inspired Nursery

We're so proud of the nursery we put together for our first child, a baby girl named Olive, who we welcomed to this world on December 1st. Like many others we wanted her room to grow with her & not make it too "baby". We also incorporated used pieces and DIY projects to keep the overall cost low.

criss cross wall---- i could do this in a rental with electrical skinny tape or thin masking tape

I love the idea of shelving on the wall over the dresser to hold changing equipment. Having buckets to hold the small things you don't use as often or for pacifiers is a cute idea.

Love chevron! I love the colors of this room & considering whether the chevron would work on the wall, or if I should add smaller doses in fabrics...I already have the chocolate/light pink/deep pink tree applique on the wall & plan to keep it.

I love the idea of not knowing the sex of the baby until they are born, so in case Matt and I go that route when we have one I found this lovely gender-neutral baby room. :)

This modern tree mural is so pretty in shades of blue. The European crib is so nice paired with the modern drum table. And is that a FatBoy I spy in the corner?
