Raspberry & Linen for Layla

I had the honor of designing my new grand daughter's room... Layla's nursery is full of items that were repurposed, reused, sewn, painted and crafted especially for her. Cheerful, sunny and full of vibrant color; it is a room that will "grow" with her.

Tamara believes that kids are never too young to start appreciating art, so while the artist of these prints is unknown, she loves the "Mark Ryden meets Tim Burton feel" of them. I like the idea of painting a small section of stripes and framing it in with trim instead of doing a whole big wall. Still makes a big impact, but not as WHOA NELLY. Bennetts nursery by Rebecca for Project Nursery-Doesn't have to be just for the nursery.
