    The lamp is adorable, but I'm getting so tired if seeing completely impractical vignette designs like this. Do these people even have kids? Do you know how fast that lamp will get kicked off the table???

Of course! The fabric balls are made with a 4 or 5 inch styrofoam ball. Take 3 yards of fabric per ball and cut it into as many 6 inch circles as possible. Fold the fabric into quarters and pin all over the ball. Easy, peasy!I Then take a styrofoam wreath form, cover with ribbon and then used ribbon to tie it all together as a mobile. Cheers!

Ok see...THIS is what I was originally going for. But its seems everything has to be all girly and colorful. Nobody buys you the cute white top. They wanna buy the ones that have pink ruffles and say, Daddy says I'm cute. Come on...

Again, I really like the banners. I'm especially partial to the idea of setting up a banner on our old picnic table (probably set up for food or gifts) and maybe something near the front door or in the living room/playroom area? Or across the living room window? The nursery thing doesn't apply.
