This is soooo cool, and something I would have loved as a kid. I remember taking several blankets (none of which were ever big enough), and trying to make forts. This is already made, plus it has cute curtains!

What a great idea! table cloth and play tent in one. Utilize that wonderful play space under the table. You can just take it off when guests come if you want a formal look--I'd just leave it on since I've already got a big plastic slide and 3 seater crocodile teeter totter in the same room. =)

Dutch Canal House: "I think all kids love playing in little houses. Playing 'kiekeboo' and opening and closing doors. Joost built this one for Nils in the summer and we had it in the living room for a little while. Now the weather is good we've moved it out onto the terrace where we've made a little playing area." www.joeandjules.com

H is for house? T is for tent? A is for ABSOLUTELY AMAZING... Doing this for sure. May go to Tuesday morning for the tablecloth.... cheap and easy! :) You could even add snaps or velcro for easy opening and closing. However, this would only work for older kids but they will love it when they come to play!!

diy play kitchens are so much cuter than store bought ones! they have so much more character.
