Party Prop~ Start with a hula-hoop and several rolls of crepe paper. Once you have them all attached to the hula-hoop, raise it into place and then twirl and attach all the end of streamers to the walls. You could also add some lights!
DIY chandelier. I would string strands through the middle and hanging down as well to make it a bit fuller... OR find a (or a couple of) progressively smaller sized hula hoops and create more tiers below.
Fill balloons (white or colored) with glow sticks for an awesome party decoration, or just as a fun past time for the kids. After your balloons are half filled with air, carefully insert a glow stick or two, and then finish blowing them up and tying them off. These would be cool hung upside down from the ceiling!
could put Bible versus/scripture in each balloon, and when the kids pop the balloon and read their paper, the teacher can talk more about that particular story in the Bible and how it relates to the kids.
