Monterrey Chicken-Pinner says: I made this today for our church dinner, and it was a HUGE hit! I combined two recipes. I used the marinade from this one and then grilled the chicken. I topped according to the other Monterey chicken recipe on this board.
SESAME CHICKEN: 1 cup soy sauce, 2/3 cup brown sugar, 1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp ground ginger, 2 tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp sesame seeds. DIRECTIONS: 1. Put all ingredients in freezer bags 2. Toss and knead bag so chicken gets covered evenly in sauce 3. Flatten bag and freeze TO SERVE: Cook in crockpot on low for 6-8 hours or on high 3-4 hours. Serve over rice.
Chicken with Mustard Mascarpone Marsala Sauce Recipe by Giada...I used sweet marsala instead of dry and it turned out WAY too sweet. It wasn't very good. Definitely need to use dry marsala if I ever make it again. Jake and Lara liked it though!
