In the 2005 Jane Austen movie "Pride And Prejudice", Pemberley House, the estate of Bennet’s suitor Mr. Darcy, was actually North Derbyshire’s Chatsworth House. Home to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire, the Elizabethan-style mansion boasts one of Europe’s great private art and sculpture collections. The house was also featured in the 2008 film "The Duchess".
