I say! A classic vintage dog portrait, complete with top-hat and pipe

  • Skye

Vintage dog photo. The Victorians loved their dogs & typically included them in their family studio photos. They would also have photos made of just their dogs alone. Sometimes this included dressing them up in clothing, top hats, & smoking pipes. Their beloved Pitbulls often made the best subjects for this, as they were compliant & eager to please.

I love this... and all the dogs I've been fortunate to know! Thanks, Jan, It Made my Day.

Even grey and rainy days can make for gorgeous photographs!

Jojo the dog-faced boy always wore the best attire while making his young son Rover wear rags or nothing at all... he was soon shunned by society...

In my life I have only found one other human that I can say this about. She has been my Wife for 43+ years. Yet, I have had nine dogs in my life (one my K-9 Partner) who fit this description to a "T". You figure it out, I just don't care since I am happy. One Wife = Nine Dogs sounds like a great radio to me.

Awww...nobody can ever convince me animals don't have feelings...we've all seen them happy, sad, ashamed, proud!

diggin' the underbite, little man.
