How to Get Rid of Ticks. Sadly VERY USEFUL info for this season. They're as common as mosquitoes this year, but they can give you the horrible Lyme disease. This way to properly remove ticks will keep you from worrying about infection because it tells you how to remove the tick's body in one WHOLE piece.
TICK BE GONE A nurse discovered a safe/easy way to remove ticks, making it less traumatic for the patient and easier for you. Apply a small amount of liquid soap on a cotton ball Cover the tick with the soap soaked cotton ball Blot it for a few seconds ( 15-20 ) The tick will spontaneously detach and stick to the cotton as you remove it. Notify everyone! This may help so many, especially with those hard to reach areas. Keep liquid soap & cotton balls in your summer first aid kit.
Don't let those pesky annoying ticks stop you. Here's how with a simple homemade solution! In a spray bottle, mix 2 cups of distilled white vinegar and 1 cup of water. To make a scented solution so you do not smell like bitter vinegar all day, add 20 drops of your favorite essential oil. Eucalyptus oil peppermint and citrus oils give off a strong crisp scent that also repel ticks. spray onto clothing, skin, and hair before going outdoors. Reapply every 4 hours
Who knew? If emergency occurs... While the blood is gushing - hold pressure and crack open an egg. Peel that membrane off and put it on the wound (continue holding pressure) The membrane will harden and keep the wound closed until you can get to the ER for stitches. My grandma taught my mom this and it works!
remember....Borax ant bait. Borax is the most common ingredient in house ant control products, and get this: it's absolutely 100% natural. The best way (in my opinion) to use Borax is to mix 1 cup of warm water with 1/2 cup of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of Borax. Then soak the Borax mixture up with cotton balls and place those cotton balls near any trails the ants have established in your home. Feeding frenzy... tomorrow they'll be gone. I knew there had to be a way to do this naturally!
