bowl hot dish soapy water. dip a rag into the water. sprinkle baking soda on stovetop. let soaked rag sit on baking soda for 15 minutes. swirl around and clean. dry and clean with windex to finish. good as new.
my stove top was REALLY REALLY bad and I have tried EVERYTHING expensive cleansers and letting it soak in standing water - this made a dent - I have done it twice and the hubby was "wow, thats working!" so yeah, maybe a couple more times and I will have it, but I do reccomend the gloves, I don't have any and am having to keep lotion on them now to keep them from cracking
This is supposed to be THE best way to clean the microwave. Put 1-2 C of water and one T of vinegar in container in microwave. Microwave until half the water has evaporated. Wait 10 mins. Remove bowl carefully; careful, the water will still be hot enough to burn. Scrub the walls of the microwave with a sponge sprinkled with baking soda. Wipe down microwave with a cloth dampened in clean water and the oven will be sparkling clean and free of odors.
