    You mentions that adding some salt would be good. I'm tempted to try this with those square pretzels that you can find at holiday time instead of the graham crackers. Then sprinkle graham cracker crumbs on top

Ice Cream Pretzel Cake, Ive been using this recipe for years for my girls birthday cakes. Get creative & dont limit yourself - this is a basic recipe, Ive sub'd brownies for the bottom, used different ice cream flavors such as peanut butter cup or butter crunch etc & "frost" it with chocolate cool whip. I dont use the springform pan either, I use a 9X13 or larger pan & just cut n serve
